PROVISIONAL RALLY INFORMATION
Our annual cross channel cruise is a must do rally for those wishing to gain experience of crossing the channel. It is also close to the longest day so there is approx 15 hours of daylight.
This rally is designed for both Power and Sail, but we can't control the weather. Individual skippers will make decisions 'on the day' depending on their boat, crew and weather conditions.
It is proposed the rally will visit Cherbourg, Guernsey and Jersey

St Peter Port
It is 105 Nm from Port Solent to St Peter Port, breaks in the journey are naturally at Yarmouth, Alderney (Yar to Alderney 66Nm) or alternatively Cherbourg (Yar to Cherbourg 66Nm).
Lying approximately 20 miles off the coast of France, the British isle of Guernsey is the oldest settlement in the Channel Islands and its capital, St Peter Port, is full of character. Cobbled lanes, originating at the boat-filled harbour, snake upwards through the town, while the 800 year-old Castle Cornet looks down overhead. Year-round, wild plants flourish in Guernsey’s mild climate and visitors will note the overwhelmingly European feel of this exceedingly picturesque port.
