RALLY INFORMATION

Join us in Cowes for our End of Season Rally, a weekend of good company and great food as we wrap up the season in style. Whether you’re keen on history, seafood, river fun, or simply soaking up harbour views with fellow sailors, we’ve got something for everyone.

On Friday sign up for a private guided tour of Sir Max Aitken Museum, enjoy pre-dinner drinks on the Yacht Haven veranda and dinner at Murray’s Seafood Restaurant on Cowes High Street. 

As at 25th August Max Aitken and Murrays are full.  If you register after this date and you would like to come please say so in the booking and we will run a waitlist for each event.

On Saturday lunchtime there is a fun tender Rally to The Folly. In the Evening we will be at the Island Sailing Club for a sumptuous three course dinner.

PSYC has 40 spaces allocated at Cowes Yacht Haven.

FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER

15:00 – Private Tour: Sir Max Aitken Museum

Step inside one of Cowes’ hidden gems—a stunning 18th-century sail loft turned museum, packed with maritime curiosities and restored with flair by Sir Max himself. We’ve arranged a private guided tour (23 places available – first come, first reserved) Admission is free to PSYC members, however a small donation on the day would be appreciated.

18:00 – Sundowners on the Yacht Haven Veranda
Bring your favourite tipple and join us for a relaxed drink as the sun sets over the marina.

19:30 – Dinner at Murray’s Seafood Restaurant
A Cowes institution! We’ve reserved the private back dining room at Murray’s for a seafood supper in good company. 30 spaces only– first come, first reserved.

Current set menu for £30 for 2 courses / £35 for 3 courses. Menu may vary slightly in September to use what’s seasonal. No deposit but let us know asap if you need to cancel. No menu choices in advance but let us know any allergies.

SATURDAY 27th SEPTEMBER

12:00 – Tender Rally to The Folly Pub
Join our fun flotilla up the Medina in your tender. Click here to book a table at The Folly for lunch at 1pm or just enjoy a drink on the terrace.

Walkers most welcome to join the rally at the Folly at around 1 pm. Volunteers to lead the walk required. 

19:00 – Island Sailing Club Dinner
Drinks on the terrace at ISC from19:00, sit down for dinner at 20:00. Followed by our fun end of season BOTY award ceremony.

2 courses £29.00, 3-courses £35.75 (with a discount of 10% on the ISC wine list) includes water for the table and service charge. Advanced menu choices will be needed from the above menu. No deposit but let us asap if you need to cancel.

Nominations are now open, please email your nominations with a proposer and seconder to portsolentyc@gmail.com.  Nominations should have the support of the nominee!  Nominations have been received for all roles by 30th September.

An Informal meeting will follow detailing the social and rally programmes for winter 2025 and summer 2026 with the opportunity to ask questions
