PROVISIONAL RALLY INFORMATION
A sociable circumnavigation of the Isle of Wight with overnight stops in Yarmouth and Gosport.
Sailing down to Yarmouth on the Friday afternoon tide with an earlyish start on Saturday morning to take us out through the iconic Needles before the tide turns eastwards for the return sail to Gosport.
This is also a good opportunity for those who haven’t crossed the Channel who would like experience of a longer run in company whilst staying in sight of land.
Yarmouth is a picturesque fishing, ferry and yachting port, widely regarded as one of the jewels of the South Coast. The deep water harbour retains its old world charm, while visiting boats will find a range of amenities which are very much up to date, and accepted as being among the best in the Solent.
Although we will be mooring in Gosport, the ferry will be taking us across to Gunwharf Quays for Saturday evening - more information to follow.
On your approach, call in on Channel 68 and you will be met at the harbour entrance and directed to your berth by the berthing masters.
